2. Two books are present in the cartoon and they symbolize the pros and cons of Newt Gingrich.
3. The cartoonist uses exaggeration and size to emphasize the weight of Newt's personal life in the republican's decision in nomination of a presidential candidate.
4. The cartoon deals with Newt Gingrich's rise in the polls as his personal life begins to be more of a focal point.
5. The cartoon's message is that Newt's dramatic personal life may outweigh any global/political experience and knowledge he has when taken into consideration for a presidential nomination.
6. The cartoon has a negative view of Newt's campaign and predicts that his scandalous personal life will hinder his success.
